ITEC Courses - Georgina Price - College of Beauty Therapy

The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Skin care and Eye treatments is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide facial skincare and eye treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to specialize in skincare or eye treatments and move into the world of advanced skincare or aesthetic treatments.

The main skills the learner will perform are:

Cleansing
Skin Analysis
Exfoliation
Facial Massage
Facial Masks
Home care advice and knowledge
Eyelash tint
Eyebrow tint and shaping

The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry

This course will run over a number of weeks and leads to a qualification with ITEC.

The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Manicure and Pedicure is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide manicure and pedicure treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over.

Manicures and Pedicures are very popular treatments available in most beauty salons & clinics. Natural nail treatments concentrate on conditioning of the cuticles and nails, therefore this specially designed course aims to cover the following areas:

Filing
Cuticle work
Conditioning hand & foot treatments
Polishing
Case studies to be submitted

This course is offered over a number of weeks (1 day per week) and leads to an I.T.E.C qualification. Graduates of this course can go on to study Nail Technology and the Gel Polish Nail System.

The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Waxing is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Face and Body waxing treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry.

This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over who wish to learn the skills to undertake Hot and Cool waxing methods on various areas of the face and body as well as underpinning knowledge in being a professional waxing specialist

The college offers an intensive waxing course run over a number of weeks covering hot and cool waxing systems. This qualification will allow you to be industry ready and will lead to an ITEC qualification.
