Spa Therapy Course - Georgina Price - College of Beauty Therapy

This is a Post graduate course open to qualified Body Therapists and Massage Therapists who are interested in the area of Spa Therapy. This course allows students to gain an ITEC Diploma over a five day period.

Considering the recent growth in Day Spa’s and Destination Spa’s, we feel that this qualification would be an important addition to any Body Therapist or Massage Therapist.

Syllabus:

History & concept of Spa’s
The Spa & The 5 sences (Ambience & Atmosphere)
Exfoliation – Salt Scrubs, General Scrubs &peels, Body Brushing
Steam & Sauna
Body Masks & Body Wraps
Seaweed & Sea water Treatments
Water Treatment
Hydrotherapy – Spa pool (Jacuzzi), Jet Shower (Scotch/Blitz), Hydrotherapy Baths, Affusion (Swiss Shower)

Also included in this course is a tour and treatment in one of the most prestigious Spa's in the West of Ireland. This course is offered throughout the year, please contact the college for next available dates.
