Skincare and Eye Treatments

The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Skin care and Eye treatments is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide facial skincare and eye treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to specialize in skincare or eye treatments and move into the world of advanced skincare or aesthetic treatments.

As our program is partnered with a fully operational salon, we provide comprehensive hands on experience throughout the course. This ensures you are thoroughly prepared for a successful career in the beauty industry.

The main skills the learner will perform are:

• Cleansing 
• Skin Analysis
• Exfoliation
• Facial Massage
• Facial Masks 
• Home care advice and knowledge
• Eyelash tint 
• Eyebrow tint and shaping 

The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry

This course will run over a number of weeks and leads to a qualification with ITEC.
